ERAS carried out the feasibility study for replacing the TEU evaporator at Fessenheim in order to reduce discharges of boric acid.

Our studies aimed to fix:

  • The feasibility for replacing the TEU evaporation system of Fessenheim nuclear power plant with an equivalent system as that of CPY level.
  • Pre-dimensioning of components.
  • A budget estimation for replacing and installing a such evaporator.
  • The best available technology to remove boric acid from effluents within Fessenheim environment and facility constraints.
